Landscape Garden Centers
We now offer private bookings for up to 6 guests to attend a personalized Make and Take Workshop! We are following the latest CDC guidelines to create a safe atmosphere for you so that you can relax and be creative with your planting project. Work-tables will be appropriately spaced apart in our greenhouse, and we will be providing free gardening gloves to all visitors. You will find hand sanitizer throughout the store as well.
You may choose from the following classes: Succulent Garden, Houseplant 101 Workshop, or Fairy Garden. Classes typically run 1 hour long.
Give us a call or email to register for your group at (605)-338-0706, or click here. When you call, let us know which workshop class you’re interested in, so that we can have everything pulled aside and set up for your arrival. The workshop is available every day in 1-hour time slots during our business hours.
Workshop Registration Fee: $10/person (includes soil) + additional cost depending on quantity and type of plants you choose & container cost if you purchase one instead of bringing your own.
Nitty Gritty Details:
Cancellation Policy: Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice if you or your group are unable to attend the class and need to cancel your booking, so then we can refund your workshop registration fee. Due to the nature of these highly customized workshops, if less than 48 hours notice is given, we cannot offer refunds on the workshop fee. However, we would be happy to transfer your registration to a different day/time of your choosing.
No Show Policy: If an attendee does not show for their reserved workshop session, they will forfeit the registration fee that held their spot in the class.
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your scheduled workshop, bring a hand pruner and set of gloves if you wish (free gloves are provided in size Large and Extra Large for you to keep). The greenhouse’s temperature is subject to the weather outside (can be warm or cool depending on the day), so please dress appropriately.
Food and Drink Policy: You may bring your own food and drinks to the class, but you may be having too much fun creating and planting to eat! 🙂
